Privacy Policy

MARGIVIO is independently operated by an individual. It is not presented as an incorporated company, and no registered business status is claimed. The operator's name and postal address are not published here. For any privacy question or request, write to site.works.contact@gmail.com.

• The numbers you type into a calculator are used to calculate a result. The site's code does not send them anywhere as you type.
• A shared link contains the numbers you entered in the address itself. Anyone who has the link can see them, and opening the link sends them to the server.
• The site's own code does not set cookies or use browser storage, and it has no analytics or advertising tools today.
• The hosting provider that will serve the site may keep technical logs. We have not yet confirmed what it keeps.

The calculators ask for prices, costs, fees, order volumes and similar values. When you change a field, the result is calculated in your browser by the page's code. The site's code does not contain any request that sends your inputs to a server or to another company, and it has no accounts, database or forms.

We do not ask for your name, email address, payment details or other identifying information on this site.

The Copy shareable link button creates an address that contains your inputs as a query string, for example the currency, selling price, product cost, fees, discount and order volume. It never includes the names you type for additional costs. Please do not share a link if the numbers in it are confidential.

When someone opens a shared link, their browser sends the whole address to the server, and the server uses the values in it to draw the first version of the page. Web servers and the services in front of them commonly record the requested address, including the query string, together with the time, the IP address and the browser's user-agent. That means values from a shared link can end up in server or hosting logs, in the browser's history and in anything that stores or forwards the link, such as a chat or an email. We have not yet chosen the hosting setup, so we cannot yet say what is logged or for how long.

At the time of writing, the site's own code does not set cookies and does not use localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB. The site uses your device's system fonts and does not load fonts, scripts or images from other companies.

The hosting provider or your browser may still create technical cookies or caches that we do not control. If we add anything that stores information on your device, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.

Today: no analytics tool and no advertising service is in use.

Possible in the future: we may add a web analytics service to understand which pages are used, and we may show ads through a service such as Google AdSense to cover the cost of running the site. Neither is active now. Before either goes live we will update this policy to say what is collected and by whom, how to opt out, and, where required, add a consent choice. Advertising services typically use cookies or similar technologies.

• Hosting. The site is expected to be hosted on a platform such as Vercel. It is not yet deployed, so no hosting provider is processing visits today. This section will name the provider before launch.
• Clipboard. The copy buttons write text to your clipboard only when you press them. They do not read your clipboard.
• Links to other sites. The site does not link to other websites at the moment. If that changes, those sites have their own policies.

You can write to site.works.contact@gmail.com (see the Contact page). A message you send includes your email address and whatever you write. We use it to reply and to improve the site, and keep it as long as needed for that. We have not set a fixed retention period.

The address is a Gmail mailbox, so your message is also handled by the email provider under its own terms and privacy policy. Email is not a secure channel. Please do not send passwords, payment details or other confidential information.

The site does not store the numbers you enter. Data that may exist outside the site, such as server logs, shared links or browser history, is held by the providers and people who have it. You can write to site.works.contact@gmail.com to ask us about information we hold, such as an email you sent. Depending on where you live (for example the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia or a US state) you may have legal rights over your personal data, such as to access or delete it.

The site is meant for people who run or learn about online businesses and is not directed at children.

We will update this policy when the site changes, in particular before adding analytics, advertising or a contact form. The current version is the one on this page. Read it together with the Terms of Use and About page.
